Bismarck PD Targeting Loud Mufflers

The Bismarck Police Department is increasing enforcement activity against operators of vehicles with loud mufflers beginning August 2007. It will include selective enforcement and increased emphasis on violations by patrol/traffic officers while on normal patrol. The Department will have new sound meters in each police cruiser.
